Mrs. Allard
Mrs. Allard is the Science Lab Teacher at Vista Grande Elementary in San Diego, CA. She is married and has 5 children: fraternal triplet girls, age 12; a daughter, age 6; and a son, age 4. She was born in Indiana, also lived in Ohio for a year, and went to kindergarten in Colorado. She then moved to San Diego and went to San Diego City Schools from 1st-12th grades at Hardy Elementary, Encanto Elementary (seminar program 5-6th grades), Horace Mann Junior High, and Crawford High School.
After high school, she attended Grossmont College, UC Santa Barbara, and San Diego State University. Eventually, she earned a Bachelors in Art, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. She continues to take courses in Educational Technology.
In what little spare time she has, she enjoys working on the computer, reading fantasy books, crocheting and any arts/crafts, and would love to be able to travel again once the youngest is a little older….she loves to take road trips.
Her favorite places to go are any National Parks and amazing outdoor scenery: Sequioa, Rocky Mountain National Park, Yosemite, Zion National Park, Sedona Arizona, Big Sur, Monument Valley, etc. When not traveling to a natural environment, and when the kids can be tended to by others, you can find Mr. and Mrs. Allard in Lost Vegas (yes…I meant to spell it that way) to get away.
